A New Thing. — 19 Comments

  1. Sharon, this is such a God thing! I, too, have felt God leading me to pursue my speaking and/or starting a blog for 2016. However, I feel overwhelmed by the challenge that places before me as I continue to work full time. Thanks for showing that it can be done…we just have to have the faith to step out to His plan of action!

    • That is awesome, Cathy W! It is so neat to see God work, isn’t it? I cannot wait to see what God does with your speaking and blogging in the months ahead.

  2. Oh how right you are, my friend. We can spend the rest of our lives TRYING to “get ready” OR we can simply “DO”!

How am I going to spend this spanking New Year that God has given me?

    1. I am going to put God first
    2. I am going to STOP trying and do more DOING
    3. I am going to praise Him every day and just not on my tough days
    4. I am going to shine my Light all over this world!

Thanks for this new Blog … I know you are going to continue to be such an encouragement to so, so, so many women!!!

  3. I’m so happy for you Sharon. Good for you! I write and I have had something published, just an article in the SC Business Journal but still it was a start. I have been trying to write a book for years now but since I lost my son it just has not happened. Pray for me. So proud of you Sharon.

    • Dawn, I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. I will certainly pray for you. As you may know, we have a GITW support group for moms who have lost children that has a private facebook page and meets every two months. It is called Grace Girls. As a matter of fact, the group is meeting tomorrow night in Easley. Please feel free to call me at 864 380-2358 or email me at sharon@wildernessgrace.org if you would like more information about the group. It is a very sweet, intimate group and I know that they would love to welcome you as a part.

Also, I didn’t know you write. I would love for you to write an article for our Grace In The Wilderness Newsletter any time if you might be interested. Please feel free to email or phone me.

Thank you so much for the encouragement about my blog. I am so glad to connect with you here.

      Love and prayers, Sharon

  4. Sharon, this is great…so proud of you! God is so faithful and He’s always on time so this blog is timed perfectly. I love you and look forward to what’s to come! ????

  5. I have my daily devotion, I have my inspirational quote AND now I don’t have to wait 3 months….I get a weekly infusion of my sweet friend.
My prayers are with you, and that many people will be as blessed as I have been by your sharing what God has led you to and through.

  6. I’m friends with Tona and she has always spoken of you with so much love and how faithful you have been in your life. I look forward to being a part of this new blog.

  7. I have come to see we have to step out of our box and have faith. He is always with us. I am so happy to see this. Y’all know my journey right now, I’m on a path and God is speaking to me daily. Just know I love you, I love you all!

  8. Sharon,
Thank you for being a willing vessel! I think many of us feel God leading but are to afraid to begin. Thank you for having the courage to start this blog and reminding us we have to begin…. No excuses!
    Love you!
