SPEAKING TOPICS:

Finding Grace in the Wilderness One Day At A Time:

Do you ever wonder where God is in your wilderness? Do you ever wonder what the reason is for the wilderness experiences in your life? Sharon has been there.

She shares her testimony of God’s grace through her 2011 diagnoses of breast cancer and melanoma and 3 surgeries in 5 months that perpetuated a continuing painful nerve illness that she lives with today.  During this time, her close friend was also sentenced to federal prison for embezzling from her company.

Sharon shares the lessons that God has taught her about His incredible love, mercy, and provisions during this time and how His grace is always enough no matter what we face.

Dashing Through The Dash:

The dash is the little mark between the year you were born and the year you will die. The numbers are not nearly as important as our dash and what we will do with it.

Today’s Busy Woman … counselor, ambassador, secretary, treasurer, accountant, judge, lawyer, doctor, nurse, marketing specialist, tailor, interior decorator, chef, maid, fashion consultant, hair dresser, coach, referee, team player, event planner, greeter and that is just who she is before she leaves her house. If she has little ones, she may also be a room mom, team mom, PTA member, fundraiser, neighborhood babysitter, booboo kisser, morale builder, and face washer. This does not even include caretaker for parents or full-time worker.

With all that going on, how can Today’s Busy Woman make time for quality in her life? Sharon will share ideas for how to put and keep the first thing first–God, and how to make room for the abundant life He promised.

Becoming A Woman After God’s Own Heart:

“Frailty, thy name is woman.” That is what William Shakespeare said about women.

Napoleon Bonaparte said, “Women are nothing but machines for producing children.”

But woman was wonderfully and fearfully made in the image of God. He made woman very special, very strong, very versatile. He gave her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, but gentle enough to give comfort. He gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that may come when her children break her heart. He created her from man’s rib and her place is to protect her husband’s heart.

God has a special, unique purpose for each woman. Jesus shared his life statement in Luke 4. Sharon challenges us to craft our life sentence centered around becoming a woman after God’s own heart. and committing to living it out in our lives one day at a time from this point on.
